Pinlinq offers a new, complete PIN alternative which makes mobile PIN transactions up to 30% cheaper. The Pinlinq concept offers businesses an all-in, plug & play PIN service on a subscription basis. The mobile payment terminals are available from retailers like Sligro, Makro and Office Centre, and are ready for immediate use. These payment terminals are now in use by thousands of medium-sized and small businesses. Chess develops supplies and maintains the mobile payment terminals including the complete ICT back office software infrastructure which makes this possible. En route to a European standard for PIN solutions (SEPA) and the introduction of similar concepts in Europe, Chess has developed this mobile payment terminal which complies with new European standards (EMV, PCI) and is monitored and managed in a fully remote manner. As well as the familiar debit and credit card schemes, Chess also integrates NFC technology into the terminal for the forthcoming NFC payment methods such as PayPass (Mastercard), ExpressPay (American Express), PayWave (Visa) as well as closed NFC enabled transaction systems for public transport, catering and events. Integrated Internet browser functionality in the terminal makes it possible to make third party applications available on the terminal, without modifications; for example, market and user specific applications for healthcare, public transport, catering etc. Because Chess offers the complete solution, including life cycle management, control and maintenance as a “single point of contact”, it is able to keep the total cost of ownership low for the operator, and can quickly and effectively integrate new solutions. |
